About Us

Equilibrium Capital is an investment firm managing alternative assets, private equity and venture capital funds. 

Established in 2021 Equilibrium Capital is based in Budapest, Hungary, operating as an alternative investment fund manager under the license of the Central Bank of Hungary. The firm is also permitted to operate in Dubai and in Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC). 

We aim to create long-term value for investors through disciplined capital deployment and trusted partnerships.

Portfolio

Equilibrium Capital currently manages five prive equity funds, permitted by the Central Bank of Hungary, investing in Central Eastern Europe.

 

Equilibrium Capital established Arkadash fund in Kazakhstan.

Other than investing through the funds, Equilibrium Capital is also involved in structuring and organizing investment and financing for large scale infrastructure developments in the GCC area.

Fujairah, United Arab Emirates – 2025. February 

Equilibrium Capital has established a joint venture with the Government of Fujairah Emirate to develop the ”Fujairah Hills”, a major residential and commercial property development project with a total estimated value of AED 5 billion.

The joint venture company’s articles of association were signed on February 20, 2025.

Almaty, Kazakhstan – 2025. January

On January 23, 2025, Equilibrium Capital and SkyHansa Kazakhstan signed an agreement to participate in the construction of a new international cargo airport planned in Khorgos region of Kazakhstan. The new modern cargo airport will be built as the first phase of a greenfield investment, to be followed by two further large-scale infrastructure developments to serve the dynamically growing freight transport needs of Khorgos Gateway which connects Kazakhstan to China by rail and will enable goods and products to reach European countries more quickly.

Astana, Kazakhstan – 2024. September

Astana Financial Days, one of Asia’s leading international investor conferences, took place on September 5-6, 2024. The conference was attended by more than 70 countries, with over 3,000 participants, and more than 200 speakers. Equilibrium Capital was among the speakers, represented by Dr. Péter Nagy, PhD.
